OUR MISSION
-Generation NOW (GenNOW) exists to ENCOURAGE positive and healthy relationships, EMPOWER the youth to learn, grow, and mature into successful men and women, EDUCATE them on issues and topics they deal with today, and ESTABLISH a strong spiritual foundation for building character, morals, and values.
VISION STATEMENT
-Our vision is to focus on the needs and social pressures of an underserved generation by providing fun and educational sessions where they can share openly without judgement, while growing emotionally, mentally, and spiritually in a culturally diverse environment.
BRIEF HISTORY
Generation NOW, formerly called Gen-Z Girls (GZG) was launched in September 2016. Due to my love and passion for teen girls, God called me to start a group where the girls can come together in a safe space to discuss the difficulties and struggles facing their generation today, for example, peer pressure, self-esteem, body image, relationship dynamics, relationship with God, etc. After witnessing the growth and success of GZG, I decided to expand and add a teen boys group in August 2021. This is when I also changed the name to Generation NOW: Girl’s Squad and Boy’s Crew. We have added other leaders who also have a passion to impact and inspire our youth.
